You can also hit exit, or F2 when the OS is loading, and I do believe that something happens. I can't remember what, though.

If your comp has a problem like a major one it'll start in safe mode on it's own..so you can fix the problem safely. Or some ****.
The thing is, figuring outwhat the problem is :meh:
