I use the eraser tool and if they are straight cuts that I need to make, I use the Ruler tool and make my cuts.

I would have but I forgot the link

http://www.absolutecross.com/tutoria...s/round-edges/

here we go I loved this tutorial and I adapted around it alot

now they don't specifically say to use Paint, but its alot easier if you did so since making shapes in Paint takes seconds and you don't have to worry about flipping colors and all that shit (plus its alot faster memory wise then all you have to do is save it and import it onto photoshop and continue the steps)

plus when you learn it this way you can make alot cooler shapes than most of the junk thats being made ON THIS FORUM and you can adapt it to make even funkier shapes than whats being made (and its smoother too) :P

so yeah there ya go, not 1 million people telling you how to do it, just one website that explains it one very different, but ultimately better and more efficient way. and when you learn it the right way, you can then add on to it, mix it up, change it, and personalize it your style.. thats how the best do thier thang (note: this is how I did my original Bomberman sig way back when, and that shit had it goin ON in terms of smooth boarders)
