Aparently, Konami has found a way to make the PS2 perform projected shadows.
But wait, Splinter Cell didn't have them due to hardware restrictions, right?
Well, Ubi Soft didn't have the time to for PS2 Splinter Cell. They pretty much had to rush out a PS2 port.
The above screenshot from Silent hill 3 is not FMV, that's real-time, believe me. I've seen the recent real-time GAMEPLAY graphics, and yes, they look just like that.
Just wanted to say PS2 can still compete in the graphics department.
