Yeah, I don't really like the one you have now, in comparison to this modern renovation, anyway.

I don't know how or what you did to make that, but it 0wnz me, or at least it would 0wnz me if you didn't have that really stupid ass blue stuff in your sig. .

It looks like he just took a background image from a stock photo and got some text. I like making sigs that way, stock photos and stuff are always a good way to add an interesting background to any sig with minimal work.
