okay, i need help. everything was goin well, i uploaded all 296 damn files, and i went onto my site and went to install.php

so now i am installing it, and it asks for my Database Server Hostname/DSN, wut is that? also it asks for Database Name, Database Username, and Database Password. wut are all of those?

You need to have set those up somehow on your server. I don't know how exactly because it depends on the server.

never mind, i got it. the hostname is just "localhost", the DB name is my username_uk_db, the DB Username is my tripod username, and the DB Password is my tripod password.

database password: leave this field blank
Prefix for tables in database: phpbb_

Also where it says Username, obviously it means you lycos name...if you need help. click here

Domain Name: members.lycos.co.uk
Server Port: 80
Script Path: /username/phpBB2/
Administrator Username: this will be the administrators name on the message board once it is running.
Adimistrator Password: enter a password for access to administrator areas
Admistrator Password (confirm): re-enter the password
