That's right, and the Wind Waker controls it, too.

Well actually I think it said nobody lives that knew the land or something like that. With power like the Triforce though, a lot can happen in 100 years.
Here is the begin intro story, from the instruction manual(same as intro)

"Long ago, there existed a kingdom where a golden power lay hidden. One day, a man of great evil found this power and took it for himself, and with it at his command, he spread darkness across the kingdom. But then...just as all hope had died, a young boy clothed in green appeared as if from nowhere. Wielding a blade that repelled evil, he sealed the dark one away and gave the land light. This boy, who traveled through time to save the land, was known as the Hero of Time. The boy's tale was passed down through generations until it became legend.

And then a day came when a fell wind began to blow across the kingdom, and great evil once again crept forth from the depths of the eearth. The people believed that the Hero of Time would again come to save them. But the hero did not appear...

What became of that kingdom...? None remain who know. The memory of the kingdom vanished, but its legend survived on the wind's breath.

On a certain island, it became customary to garb young boys in green when they come of age. Clothed in the green of fields, they aspire to find heroic blades and cast evil down. The elders wish only for the youths to know courage like the hero of legend..."

I will have to go with....Mature i liked the old look as it brings back fond memories of OTT don't get me wromg i like the new look its inotative like Nintendo itself but i feel Nintendo needs to have a mature Zelda game that would prove the Playstation2 + XBox fans how Nintendo can be diverse and create better adult games than Splinter Cell or Vice City because at the moment Nintendo is lumbered with "only making baby games" by the opposition.

I'm fed up with people saying that nintendo need to lose their "kiddy image". The new Wind Waker graphics kick arse. They look so smooth in motion. I have always found that Nintendo is a developer and console manufacturer for the more serious gamer, whereas Song etc. are targeted by more casual gamers. Anyway, Nintendo already have some "mature" titles out, but it still doesn't stop people considering it kiddy.

/ Couldn't agree more. Most people who have other systems enjoy games that simply let them go around a kill something over and over again. While I admit GTA is fun and all, there has got to be more to games that just that.
