New "GamerzGoop" Features - Video Games Forum

I'm sure you will all enjoy the new features:

- Added Weekly Trivia (based on games or general for some prizes)
- "Goop" idea will still be implemented
- New upgrade in board organization, specific board moderators, and a HUGE smilies upgrade
- Doubled member numbers (including more that will register hopefully from IGN and others from difefrent forums)
- Some moderators will be chose according to their timezone; we're hoping that one will be able to survey in the deep hours of the night when most mods are asleep and the forum acitvity is high
- Contests that involve skill (such as Best Photoshop maker)
- BlueGoop Boards and GL boards all have strengths and weaknesses; the post generation in each board will strengthen (for example; GL members posted greatly in Gaming; BlueGoop excels in General, focuses tiny bit less in games)
- Star "Hack" or "Medal" will be used; the more posts you generate (say every 100 posts), you will earn anotehr star or upgrade to the next level
- With the use of money or "Goop," memebrs will still have the Store, along with signature makers who will bargain and auction their images for members
- According to memebr requests, the new boards will allow room for newer forum topics
- Moderators or staff people who do their job responsible each month will get a reward

This is only the breadth of what's yet to come. Of course, your suggestion will always be accepted!

I thought we decided it we were gonna leave the smilies alone. :confused:

Perhaps, but there will still be moderators that survey everything; those will be members that have had past experience here; but the moderators chosen for specific boards will be ones that post their often and prove knowledge of the subjects within it.

Yeah, spec. mods aren't for sure yet, but they will be the less experienced, and more focused mods.

I like the freedom of surveying everything better. Being in just specific areas makes me feel closed in sorta, making me HAVE to post there all the time.

Mr. B, some smilies will stay the same, but we're going to combine both boards' smilies; believe it or not, GL had quite a few smilies that were hilarious as well.
