At first, I admit that I was taken aback, as I imagine anyone would be, when you revealed the news. I sat back and thought about it for a few moments, though, and it became more clear to me not only that you had leaving in mind for quite some time, but also that the reasons for doing so are more immediate. In my mind, I could almost foresee this day when Benson began his enthusiastic pursuit of his license. The time and focus he had on his entourage Melissa were also key in dicators in defining to me a simple fact : Benson had already begun to outgrow the boards. I imagine, at this point, things like swimming, responsibilities in work and school, friends, family and other social interactions have to supercede the bluegoop.net in order to make them work, and however displeasing this decision is to me and the rest of us here, I understand your obligation to real life has to be weighted as priority over the main site and the forums. However, while I also recognize that the timing was decided in part by things exterior from here, but Derek's resignation, as well as the forum's transitional phase has also made it easier for you to slip between the cracks.

Eh, take that with a grain of salt, but I just would like to let you know that I consider you with character of the greatest purity and integrity, and regret that I didn't get a chance to know you more personally. The work you've done here is phenomenal in both amount and quality, and your perserverence through difficult times on the site is also admirable. I would like to let you know that I support what you decide to do, and that if you ever needed my help that I would be happy to do so.
