Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Receives 40/40!
Planet GameCube is reporting that Legend of Zelda: The Wand Waker got four perfect 10s from Famitsu, Japan's leading (and most respected) gaming publication. The only other games in Famitsu's history that got perfect scores were Vagrant Story, Soul Calibur, and Ocarina of Time.

Actually, the way that Miyamoto explains it, it's not the same Link in every game.
Set 100 years after the events in Ocarina of Time, the game will focus on a young boy named Link who is presented with green clothes that are tied to a legend that revolves around a hero dressed in green. One aspect of the back story to the Zelda games that hasn't been quite clear is that Link and Ganon represent the eternal struggle between good and evil. Just as Ganon represents timeless evil, Link embodies good, which explains why a hero named Link will always rise to fight Ganon. As a result, every Link seen in the various installments of the series can be considered to be a different one.
This always made more sense to me - otherwise the continuity just doesn't work at all.
Whoever doubted Nintendo and their new cell franchise should get a slap across the face.

Wow
I knew it would be good! A lot of people judge it by the cel shading (whick is actually pretty cool) and don't care 4 the game. Those people sure are wrong!

Yes, the people who doubted Zelda's success on GCN were not only ignorant, but probably most lost hope in Miyamoto. I hope all of this changes and Nintendo gets up and kicking soon.
