I don't like it...Pikachu, Omanite(?), Marill, and Oddish look blurred or distorted in some fashion (and it doesn't look pretty).
Also, you could have done more with them besides put them on the picture. Change so of the layer settings or something.
The pokemon do not really match the BG. You were using green, so why not use green or grass and bug pokemon? Oh, and I think the font looks horrible. You should try looking for a pokemon style font and use that.
