is it just me, or does gcn seem kinda like a letdown? - Video Games Forum

i dont know about any of you, but for some reason, i dont seem to be looking forward to as many gcn releases as i do for ps2 or gba for example. sure im gonna go out and buy metroid the day it comes out, and re0 soon after it comes out, but for some reason, there arent too many games out there that i really really want. sure there are the games already out like re1, eternal darkness, monkey ball 1+2, mario, and some others, but in retrospect, if i only really could have one system (besides gb), it would probably be ps2 just cause of its game selections. what do you people think?

I was pretty much happy with only Super Smash Bros Melee.. and that was a title off of a N64 game...

yeah, GCN is fine by me. Zelda comin out...THPS4 out already...man i can't wait till i get my hands on them

Zelda does come out.........next year.

THPS4 is also on every next gen system, so it doesn't matter.

Today or sometime this week I will get PSO and see how it is.

I like the gamecube now.....although i was very disappointed from march-august

there are some sick titles coming out soon and i cant wait for 2003 for zelda starfox armada and i hope more surprises from nintendo

i know, but i can wait for Zelda, and i know THPS4 is coming out on all systems, but if u only have GCN, its still good if it comes out for it. just because a good game is on all systems doesn't mean that it doesn't make the systems better.

I am far from being dissapointed by GC. Although Sony may have way more good games than Nintendo I believe that Nintendo wil always have more truly great games. Zelda, mario< Mario Kart/tennis/golf, metroid, Smash Brothers and others by wicked second party devs like factor 5, Retro and Silicon Knights!
