... Especially in the last five turns.

Scenario:

Koopa's Seaside Soiree. I'm Yoshi against 3 computers -- DK, Luigi, and Peach. 50 turns. So we're going along... lalala... I get a good 5 stars while DK has 2, Peach has 1, and Luigi has 2... And it comes to the last 5 turns.

Well, Peach was in last place, so she got to stop the Last 5 Turns Roulette. And it lands on "All Red Spaces become Fortune Spaces". Well, I'm now at the second last turn of the game, and Luigi lands on the Fortune Space, bringing up a "Reversal of Fortune" game. So, Luigi plays the game, and gets DK on his "Giving" side. Next, I'm looking on the computer ignoring the game for a second, when I glance back and see Yoshi on the "Recieving" side. So I'm thinking "Woohoo I'm going to get something from DK..." when suddenly, the last pinball lands on "DK and Yoshi trade coins"

I had a whole 364 coins, while pathetic little DK only had 34. Now I'm stuck with 34 coins, in which luckily I can still get that star that I am by....

Ah well, I got sweet revenge on DK. He landed on a Bowser Space, and Baby Bowser came and stole 30 coins, and he bought a Super Mega Mushroom, leaving him with only 319 coins. :^O So I'm sure I'll still win, unless something else totally unexpected happens...

What are some of your Mario Party Turn-Around experiences?

i recently rented #4 so i was mario and i was in a commadnding lead. i had 6 stars while luigi had 4 and wario and yoshi had 3 each and the same thing happend wario was called to spin the last 5 turn wheel and then all the reds turned to those stars. so on the last turn i got it and i was like "f***" i had my STARS and COINS switched with Wario and i never got my chance for a comeback... boy was i pissed.... but this was with friends so he was like "hahahahaha BOW DOWN TO ME" and i was like "you never earned them you cheap little F***" and so on...

btw i hate that last wheel b/c i never get to spin it b/c of my skill

Lol, same with me. I only got to spin it once, which was with my brothers in Goomba's Greedy Gala. I had some pretty bad luck that time, but in the end I made a full comeback by changing all the Red Spaces to Bowser Spaces and winning all 3 bonus stars. :cool:

Yeah that's one of the best things about MP games.....They are so unpredictable

I just rented MP4 and its a pretty good game...not worth my buy though.....

Mario Party 4 is really fun...but they could of made is much better. I think they should of added all the past boards and mini-games to the gamecube version. THat would of rocked!

when did MP4 come out? Just recently i assume.

I guess MP4 wasn't nintendo's online gaming secret since it's out now :-(
