Suikoden III is godly.. i love it..
Double Team attacks, triple team attacks, support characters, 6 characters on a team, with 3 groups on the team, Skills system is like a store, where you go to people to teach you.. and rune system is great too
108 stars of destiny, and when you find one, the special castle city grows larger and larger... 3 main characters, 6 controllable main characters in 6 stories branching chapter by chapter
and lets not forget the elusive Fire Champion...
its a sweet game
on the other side Wild Arms 3 first game i got for my ps2.. (i got my ps2 rather recently)
Upgradable Arms (guns) incredible Medium system (magic) the cel shaded monster and character designs are great, the story is awesome, all set in a trigun type setting (in the future, with space ships, but everyone forgot about those times, and people only know the west style of living)
4 controllable main characters, with characters in the world that react differently accordingly to who you have controlling the party (you can switch by pressing R1, and then talk to a person and what they say may be different, and often crucial to understanding certain links in the story, but not often important to go to the next part of the story, but you can get some sweet stuff that way)
in Suikoden III, you learn to mix and match characters up (so many of them to choose from, to mix and match and create double team or triple team attacks with) to achieve an awesome combo for a situation.. where as in Wild Arms 3 you have to rely on team work of 3 people you grow accustomed to very easily, and you learn to be incredibly efficient with them, matching them up with mediums accordingly to thier abilities and skill levels...
both great RPG's. with Great Stories, and Great Music (although.. i like Wild Arms 3 music more simply because of that western feel)
and both have GOBS of Replay value (fountains of it, although Suikoden has more replay value, both have alot)
