Thats why ATI is better Although the nv30 will blow the radeon 9500 pro to bits

ATI is god damn expensive.

I can only get my card replaced by the same type of card, so I couldn't switch my Geforce for an ATI.

And my parents won't buy me one because stupid Christmas is a month away.

If you get the chance get a radeon 8500 or above (if you do choose to go ATI in the future) its one nice card. Playing UT2k3 at full speed (45 fps) all at max! SWEEET!!!

I was going to get ps2 (I have $300 extra from my last pay check) but now with a broken pc I have no clue how much it is going to cost now LOL. To replace the CDRW's and floppy is close to $200 atleast

Did you build this PC yourself?

I did . It worked fine since march 2002 (when I built the machine my self.) this is the first problem I have encountered with it. It seems to be a serious one at that.
