The doc suggested that I lift weights in order to tone my upper body. My parents are talking about sending me to a gym, which is a big nono. So can someone suggest a store that sells wieghts for cheap?

EDIT: BTW, the doc himself said that I don't really need to go a gym where the pretty girls play, and that I could stay home and do all that I needed to do.

Maybe you can take weight room in gym class, or get your own machine for home. I don't know of any stores though.

Check out sports authority for like free weights, I got a set there for like 100 bucks, plates with the bars, pretty decent.

AWESOME!!!! But its gonna be embarassing though to buy it though. I'm really scrawny looking and my parents are gonna yell out chinese across the store. My brother moved and took all the wieghts with him.

i am only 14 and i go to the gym and i have super toned upper body now. My pecs are humongous and i always have girls feeling them because they are muscle and big

well bardia at that age certain people hit a thing called puberty. I think your just going through the stage were your breasts come in, next will be the period .

but u could go to like k mart walmart and sears to get sets of weights. they go pretty easy its just the big stuff that doesnt.
