The con about the Gamecube though is DVD capability.

You can get a GC with built in DVD. But Myth has a dvd player anywayz. It is a downside though.

Nintendo has a great selection, but I suggest the Xbox. You have MechAssault, Halo, NFL Fever 2003, Blinx, Rallisport Challenge, Project Gotham Racing...there's lots of great games for Xbox. Plus, there's so much more that you get with it...DVD, CD Ripping, no memory card required, Hard Drive, and the glorious Xbox Live service!!!

Gamecube lacks in platform games to, they have mario...crash..what else maybe a few more
xbox has blinx...crash...maybe a few more... dont really see which has more there.
I would get xbox if you like FPS and online games. They are also coming out with Fable before long which is going to be like zelda but i think it will be better.

You got to be kidding me....those two games cant nearly compare with many GCN titles...and it seems that almost household now has a DVD player that is seperate from their PS2, almost everybody has a CD burner on their Computer, a 16x mem card for GCN costs only 30 bucks and it will last you for about 50 games so what the big deal, and I still would rather pay for PC online gaming than console no matter what system its on....so basically most of what you said XBOX has, most people already have, or their computer already has it, so i would rather pay for an actual console like GCN or PS2 rather than buy a slightly slimmer version of a computer

Well, id till go for cube, play on an xbox and see if you like it, if youve enjoyed previous nintendo consoles too, well, maybe the cube would be the best choice. Its all about the games
