I was asked by my mom what I wanted for Christmas, and I said either an XBox or a Gamecube. I've heard good things about both, but I want to make sure I make the right desicion

So which should I get?

It really depends on what types of games you like. Look at what's released and what's coming out. I hear Xbox Live is good, but I have never given it a try.

Only xbox if you have Broadband, if not...IMO it sucks

I like games with very good gameplay. I don't care much about graphics much, but I think graphics play a big part in games. Which one costs more?

Xbox is $50 more expensive.

Xbox = $199
Gamecube = $149

You might want to wait a little while, because I heard something about Gamecube dropping their price again somewhere.

You could go to Electronic Botique and get a pretty good deal on a gamecube if u want. You would proably have to trade in something...i dunno.

The games for gamecube a little more kiddy when compared to xbox. But if you all ready have ps2 it dosen't matter what you get.

i am extremely biased (aka fanboy) but if i were you, id get the gcn. xbox just tries to impress with visuals and its harddrive, but gcn truely has the heart, plus the quality games. seriously, consider the number of quality games for gcn compared to xbox.

i own both

and it seriously doesnt matter which one u get

if u play on getting live then xbox, if u dont then gc or xbox
