Microsoft is trying to buy out Capcom! I read it on rehorror.com. this is sad because i'm a fan of Onimusha and DMC (and many love the resevil series on ps1/gamecube or are Mega Man fans).

Dammit! i really hope this doesn't happen, I love the resi evil series on the cube.

Capcom has lost PLENTY of money right now, and is pretty desperate. However, they are too big of a company to just sell themselves out first. And then again, they're Japenese, X-Box is American. I don't think Capcom will go that easy to an American company without a harsh fight.

Well Nintendo has done the same thing in the past. They bought out everbody and took Master System out of the market in America.

But it would be surprising to me to see MegaMan on the Xbox

Hi, I might be new here but i am reasonable well know on the OXM forums, anyway enough introductions, in my view business is business. Microsoft is learning quick that youcan't sit idly on your backside and expect xbox to shift themselves, if by buying out rare, capcom it means more customers for them, besides somehow i can see microsoft entering a bifd for capcom anytime soon, why? because the legal rangling that would ensue with nintendo is more trouble than is worth. once mircosoft find a loop hole they probably will make a bid, and by anti-microsoft people say oh-no and pro microsoft say 'get in' then even if they are only rumors. then the reaction may make them think twice about considering a bid, anyway that is what i think.
