I just bought a 120 gig hd.. and I managed to install it perfectly.. but it won't show.. I checked the properties, and its registered to in the hardware list, and its full functional.. but it doesn't show.. I think I have to format it.. but how do I go about doing that?

You restart in MS-DOS and when the command thingy comes up type "Format C:/" or something and hit yes when it says are you sure.

the C Drive is my MAIN drive... if i format that, im ****ed...

this is my secondary drive.. hell I don't even know what letter it is...

Oh..well I dunno. Just figure out what letter it is and do that, but replace the C with the letter it is.

thats my CDRW Drive

and E is my DVD Drive.. should I hit F by Default?

look in windows explorer to see what letter it is....

Unless you partitioned it some weird way, it should be the last drive available. Then jus tgo to "start", "run" and then "formatN:/"
