I never said that Orwell couldn't write high level literature, and I appreciate his authoring. I just felt like it's a weak, irrelevant reference. I also didn't say it wasn't a work of art, and unless you are conceding that you have an inability to read, a short memory, and are entirely unknowing of what's going on, then I don't really think that was an appropriate allusion. Just because you read it in your English class doesn't mean you have to use it in all your posts.
In part, I apologize, because there is no doubt Animal Farm carried a good deal of historical relevance, and I apologize for jumping on your case, I'm just uptight, and so used to arguing with you about everything that I just had to say something derogatory.
And complexity has a good deal to do with the reading/comprehension levels of a text. ;)

It's big of you to apologize. I'm not sure if I need to, but I apologize too. Actually, while I did read the book in English, I also read it in the 7th grade (junior high!
) for pleasure. I'm not putting it in all my posts, I read a lot of stuff in English class and otherwise, and if there was a relevent time to make a reference to Antigone, I'd do that too.
The reference I wished to make was that the board is becoming more strict, limiting the number of those with power, and tightening on cencorship. Laws have gone, for one example, from -

Much like in the society of Animal Farm.
