I was gonna suggest take some of that Vicks spray with you. You just spray it in your mouth and it numbs your throat in a few seconds. Helps a lot.

Maybe I should go get some today. The concert all over but I still need to feel better...

I don't know if it will 'cure' your illness, but yeah, that vicks stuff will at least make it go away for a little bit... like during school. I've been lucky enough not to get sick yet this year.
