wow the U.S.A led war on Iraq has begun after the expiry of President George W. Bush's ultimatum to Saddam Hussein and despite objections by numerous members of the UN. Cruise missiles struck one part of Baghad - aimed, said U.S. officials, at senior Iraqi leaders. But there's been no broad bombardment, nor sign of a ground invasion by U.S. and British troops from Kuwait. British Defence Minister Geoff Hoon said the dawn raid was based on information obtained. Iraq's Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf said one person had been killed. He condemned the USA and denied a Kuwaiti claim that Iraq had fired Scud missiles into northern Kuwait. Reporters with U.S. units there said troops had donned masks. President Bush, referring to suspected Iraqi weapons on mass destruction, had announced the outbreak of war, saying Ameria and "coalition forces" were "defending" the world. A person looking like Saddam Hussein appeared on Iraqi TV and accused the USA of "cowardly aggression". Yes we are really cowardly, twat!
