Has anyone been watching Gladiator on TV? Its been airing on ABC for the last 2 days (because it was so long they showed it in 2 parts on consecutive days). I like the idea of showing it because it was a good movie, but it really sucks because they cut about 10 min of fighting out. But they filled in those minutes with scene that were cut out of the film version.

On a related topic: ABC is doing the same thing with 'Saving Private Ryan' next week. Why are they just now starting to show these R rated movies on ABC?

They showed some blood but never when its coming out of someone. Just like when it on the ground after the fight. All the actually wounding was implied.
