It can play any Gameboy Game...just like the current GBA can.
And to answer a question that one of you will ask, it is compatible with e-Reader.

As for GBA sp, it looks damn worth checking out. Does it really have a backlight, like Gamegears? I heard the light was just mounted. (I'm not all that informed on this)

it's actually a frontlight, but i don't know wut the difference is. it's a light in the system.
and it comes out in 20 days in north america, on the 23rd.
