Yeppers, I bought it about a year before it became Greatest Hits.

well, i played it over the summer, and i found it to be quite a good game (after procrastinating from playing it for two years due to lack of time). my only gripe is where i stopped playing at, which is one of the last battles on chapter 3, which is the one on one battle of ramza vs that evil knight guy. i cant beat it, and all the faqs i read tell me i should have raised my character in a certain way, or to go back and level build, which i hate doing. so i stopped playing it. but other than that, a quite solid game...but make sure you have enough time to devote to it!

Best FF Ever, IMO.

It has a great battle system, and it's quite deep. Theres many ways you can take your characters thoughout the game. Also has a really high reply value because of this. It does have a high learning curve, but you'll love it after you get familiar with everything. Great characters too. And I loved the sad ending. You'll see.

It does have bad translations though. But it shouldn't hurt the fun factor one bit.

can you actually control the characters or is it just straght battles?

i played that ogre batlle game for gba and i thought it sucked cuz u couldnt move the characters around

if u can move the characters around, that rocks


if not, then it doesnt

you can somewhat control characters it is not all battles but takes up a good chunk!!!

yeah i got this game 2. its pretty cool. dont like small characters tho. that is just not cool. . but all in all the game is good. the battles i faced are a bit though. i like that. . i give the game a 7.5 for diffuclty.
