How can you judge a game after playing only 15 minutes?

I have never gotten into the FF series casue I have never had a PS or PS2. I plan on getting the one for GCN, but I do agree that sometimes it can be over-hyped. From what little I have played and seen, they look like a solid series and I plan on playing some in the future as long as they continue to be different, and dont start breaking into a cycle of everything being the same.

FFVIII is good...but most people don't see it.

there pretty good really, i have played and beaten FFVIII and FFT. i use to say that thios game sux just by looking at it. when i deccided to try it out, was i ever so wrong about saying it suxed. its not the best gameever but it is pretty enjoyable.

The series as a whole is awesome. Like mos people on this topic (or at least looks like most people on this topic) I agree that FF7 sucked. However, I also didn't like FF8, but FF9 is my favourite. It just seems to have one of the more involved story lines and I prefer that magic system (materi) over the FF8 system.
