Default Euthanasia

What are your opinions on this subject? I think it is morally wrong and just plain wrong. It's really sickening. You?

Depends on the situation at hand. Say if its some one who wishes to be put to an early end becuase they have a sickness like cancer and they know they are going to die. Then I have no problem with it

LOL

Anyways, I'm not for Euthanasia either, even if someone is in pain and wants to die. Too bad. Just shoot that person up with Morphine.

I guess it's just an "approved" form of suicide. My dad says that when he gets old, he would rather die than suffer. I don't know how I really feel about this because I honestly haven't given it a whole lot of thought. I hear these quotes all the time like "Suicide is for the weak," and things to the likes of that but if someone is suffering and they're nearing the end of their life then I think that it would be somewhat cruel to make them live against their will. People should want to live life to the fullest but at some point you can't go any farther.

I think that if someone wants you to end thier pain, and suffering than let them.

Well this is good timing, because I've learned my cat has Feline Aids, and rather than have him suffer, we're going to put him to sleep. He led somewhat of a happy life, but I will miss him a lot. I guess in some situations it's for the best, because I wouldn't want to see him in so much pain, and I can't imagine what is going through his body, I couldn't let him live like that, so it's a case-by-case deal with euthanasia.

I think it's alright if the family makes a mutual decision with the person wanted to be put down only if they have a terminal illness or is old enough where they will die soon anyways. I think it's selfish and wrong if a person wants to die and they don't have a terminal illness.

EDIT: and if they don't even talk to their family or doctor about it.
