Yeah..certain games though are like that...you play for the story. Kinda like ED for the cube as well.

Who cares about game endings. What happened to old-school?

All Zelda games seem to have the perfect ending. My favorite of them all would prolly be between Link's Awakening and Majora's Mask. The music makes the ending what it is, and even though some might be simple, it's just the fact that you've just accomplished one more game out of the millions available.

The endings in videogames usually have to show the conclusion to the characters after a certain things has been completed or defeated. Some endings are too short, but I really don't think it's as important; the ending is only an added flavor, not a requirement, to a videogame. The only real reason develoeprs like Nintendo and Sony have put endings implemented into videogames is because otherwise they would have to make games much longer.
