I have to right click on the button on the bottom toolbar and hit maximize

Well, normall, you click in the right hand corner and click and drag it to pull it to a new size... Maybe try that when the window is maximized...

Hold shift and close the window when it is maximized, then it will be remembered.

It remembers the last manually or shift controlled closing.

The window doesnt change dimensions when its on the maximum mode

I already tried but it's fully maximized and when i hit restore it will go back to that white strip. And I cant click no where on the strip that will do anything.

No, just maximize any window, then Hold Shift and hit the x.

Now any new window that opens should hold that.

I just went crazy clicking on the internet explorer icon and clicking a bunch of time on the strip.

Now how do I make it so it's in minimized every time I click on it?
