I love Yu-Gi-Oh (see avatar) but Pokemon is cool too. I had Yellow, Red, and Silver, but now all I have is Yellow. My current team (only around lv 25) is Gyarados, Pikachu, Charmeleon, Ivysaur, and Raticate. My end of game team should be Charizard, Pikachu, Venusaur, Gyarados, Articuno, and Mewtwo. A while off, but I will play it a bit tonight. I am at the rock tunnel now though, and I find it to be the most annoying part in the game. Also, my Gyarados was lv 22 when I took on Surge with a 28 Raichu and my Gyarados took down about 6/8 of its hp...Lol. then it got K/Oed so I sent out Pika and used quick attack. And won.

The first time I did Rock Tunnel in Blue Version I didn't have Flash.... It was weird, it took me a few days to get out. I didn't have dig or an escape rope or anything either. lol, I was such a n00b.

i'm kinda a closet pokemon fan. i play every once in a while.

and Alias, i have never gotten flash. it's my thing. i never have, never will get flash in any pokemon game unless it's 100% necessary.

I was considering resetting the game too.. It was sad.. But I kept going thinking that everyone else had to suffer the rock tunnel, in the dark.

I was never a n00b at this game. I got all 150 the first play through. I never got Mew though.

I guess I will just use my Yellow guide to get through the rock tunnel without flash. It has a graphical map of everything so it should be pretty easy.

rock tunnel is fairly easy to get through, you get flash from Proffesor Oaks aid when youn come out of digletts cave. And flash is neccercary in Gold, you need it to catch lugia etc
