The best way I would think of now is posting a major gaming/news headline off of your site on other forums casually, start a discussion about it and link to the headline.

Yeah, we have basically stopped advertising there, I didn't make that thread and I kept from advertising as best I could.

I always find it funny when I see Benson's sig at IGN. It's the link to here 5 times. It catches the eye fairly well too.
