It's scientific i guess because it deals with reproduction and things like that. You could relate herdity to it too if you wanted. Of course its not scientific about chosing an egg or chicken.

if you believe in evelution, then the chicken came first

the first chicken was the offspring of not a chicken, but a creature extremely close to the chicken

so the egg that held the chicken came first, but it wasnt a chicken egg, so chicken

Well, I'm not saying his opinion is wrong, I'm saying that I believe his facts are wrong. I think word is saying that the chickens just evolved from some other animal, and while that is possible, it would have taken a very long time and everything because nature would have to continue to chose for that particular chicken... I was just saying that he may reconsider his statement about chickens. So, "I beg to differ" and i have pointed out the reasons why. Happy?
