It seems as though the Bucks have officialy traded Ray Allen for Gary Payton, and a few other players.

There are also rumors going around that the Bucks are trying to trade Sam Cassel for Latrell Sprewell.

All I have to say is that: I have finally learned most of the names of the Bucks players, and then you just have to trade them all away don't you Milwaukee! Grrr! Also, I feel really bad for the fifty or so kids at my school that own Ray Allen jerseys.

Payton still has another five good years out of him. The Bucks got a better deal... plus mason, too! This is certainly a big trade, and I was really shocked when I found this out earlier in the day.

I hate trades to other teams that involve stellar players.

Seattle got a pretty good deal too. They should've never traded Payton but in all likelyhood, they wouldn't have been able to sign in the offseason. Ray Allen is in his prime and an all star. Seattle still has Rashard Lewis too; he's an awsome player.

It's pretty sad though. Gary Payton is a symbol in Seattle. There's billboards of him all over the place. Although Seattle is built for the future, Gary Payton is a huge loss.

The Bucks get a good guy, but they still don't have much of a front court. Mason isn't going to solve all their problems. To me, in the long run Seattle got a much better deal.

How so? Payton averages 20 pts a night.. 8 or so assists... desmond mason averages 15pts a night.. and is a good rebounder. Bucks only really lose ray allen, which averaged 20 pts.. a few assists and a few rebonds per game.

Gary Payton is starting to get up there in age and slowly his numbers will start to drop(like Karl Malone), but Ray Allen on the other hand is young and still has many years ahead of him.

The bucks traded for this season.. and this season they got the better end of the deal. Plus the freed up tons of cap room.
