why do the mods lock my threads with actual questions.. but leaves the "i reached 6000" thread up and running? this makes no sense

you might try them in the site related section, other than that most mods are weird sometimes

Because you made that thread in the wrong board....and people only post threads about their post count every 1 thousand posts they get, not every 40.

well usually when a member is worried that their thread is sinking, they post on it to bring it back up. Don't do it, but its a hell of a lot more acceptable than making a whole new thread, and when you do make threads about the same thing, they will be closed. 1 is enough
