Why do people hate Bush so much?
i just dont get why there is so much hate against that man. it is not just ridiculing him, because he looks like a chimpanzee (honestly) or disliking his pollicies. they really _hate_ the person. so much is being blamed on him, that it has become a joke and he is being painted as the 2nd stalin, while at the same time a dumb marionette, who has no clue about what is going on.
now there is a report from a british newspapers correspondent in iraq, in which he tells about, what an american colleague said to him about bush and iraq
Quote:
But then she came to the point. Not only had she ‘known’ the Iraq war would fail but she considered it essential that it did so because this would ensure that the ‘evil’ George W. Bush would no longer be running her country. Her editors back on the East Coast were giggling, she said, over what a disaster Iraq had turned out to be. ‘Lots of us talk about how awful it would be if this worked out.’ Startled by her candour, I asked whether thousands more dead Iraqis would be a good thing.
She nodded and mumbled something about Bush needing to go. By this logic, I ventured, another September 11 on, say, September 11 would be perfect for pushing up John Kerry’s poll numbers. ‘Well, that’s different — that would be Americans,’ she said, haltingly. ‘I guess I’m a bit of an isolationist.’

while i do not agree with how my government handles its job, i do not think Schroeder is 'evil' and im certainly not hoping for his pollicies to go wrong, only to make his party lose the next elections.

envy.
most people are more intelligent than bush, but they will never earn as much money regardless how hard and long they work.
for europeans, bush is a reminder of royal times: as long as you had the right father, it didn't matter how big a dumbass you were.
or maybe, just maybe, people realize what kind of an assehole bush is
on a personal note: i don't hate bush, as a matter of fact i admire him. i suppose it takes a lot of courage to live a public life when you are as stupid as he is.

ROFL @ boiler's last comment.
Anywho some of the reasons why I dislike him:
- he waged a war against a sovereign country called Afghanistan
- he waged a war against a soveraign country called Iraq with false pretenses this time
- he refuses to apply due process on americans held under suspicion of being or supportign any terrorist organization
- he has cut into the privacy rights with the patriot act
- his financial politics are ruinous to the economy
- he thought kyoto accords were something to eat and since he doesn't know how to use chop sticks he gave it to his dog
- he permitted drilling in the national parks in alaska
- he gave KBR/Halliburton contracts worth billions without public bid (cheney's former company)
- he uses his christianity to score with the ultra right
- he is against stem cell research which would probably cure many diseases
- he is against abortions (like there aren't enough unwanted kids around)
- he has executed more people in TX than any other governor before him
- he pretends to be a texan but isn't.... read his bio...
- he is dumber than a brick and has the IQ of a jelley bean
That is just what I came up with in the first 5 minutes. I think I could find more but that should suffice for now....

"Hate" is a bad word for what we feel, right now.
First, you should change the word "hate", because it doesn´t convey our feelings correctly. Hatred is blind, our resentment towards Bush is not. We do not "hate" Bush, per se. We hate what he represents, we hate what he has done to the world, we hate the way he thinks, the way he acts, the way he is.
Second.
We are forgeting about the election fraud, the New American Century crap, the Texas death penalty, and the fact that people have a problem not only with Bush himself, but with his entire administration.
Also, i think it´s dificult to distinguish between how much is his policies and how much is his own personnality. He takes the decisions that he does exactly because of who he is, and you cannot resent his policies without feeling some resentment for the man behind them aswell.
People not only "hate" him, so to speak, they are also scared shitless of him, because of what he represents and what he might do (and is doing) to the world.
The man is a political antichrist, opposed to all that is good and decent. If on top of that, you add the fact that he is a complete moron, with an IQ of a 5 year old, you can´t help but wondering what is there to like, in the first place.
If you ask me personnally, i will "hate" the man and i hate his policies, for as long as he keeps the president´s office. The moment he is gone, i won´t have a problem with him anymore. But untill that day, he will always be on my sights.
If he was the president of just the local country club, as opposed to being president of the US, most of the world wouldn´t have any opinion about him. Except maybe a small measure of pitty for all the other club members. It´s his job that spurs so much resentment towards him.
We shouldn´t also forget the Bush family history. Bush the father´s policies are as bit insane as his son´s. The family was made rich thanks to dealings with the nazi party, the bin Laden family, and lots of oil speculation and government favours. The whole family stinks of illegalities, imoralities and indecencies. Seeing both of them reaching office due to dirty money is sickning.
Why do we "hate" Bush so much?
It´s simple: Bush represents all that is wrong with America and the world today. And because much of what happens in America transpires to the rest of the world at large, it affects every single human being.

About his intelligence, I just want to add that his IQ is 91. I believe it's 1 of the lowest, if not the lowest of presidents of the USA ever. The highest, ironically, was the man right before him, Clinton, with 182.

182?? Is that right? Didn´t Einstein have a 160 IQ? A man with IQ of 160 is a genius. With 180 he has to be out of this world, literaly.

Clinton must have an IQ of 140 or something. 150 tops.

There is no way that his IQ is 91. An average IQ is 100-110 and I can't believe that Bush could score that low. Even if he did score that low, I am sure his father would have "lost" the records of his IQ test the same way the national guard "lost" Bush's military records.

You have to realize that there are many different IQ tests with different scoring schemes. On the IQ I took, 100 was considered average level and 140 was considered genius level.
