It is, but since the P&R section is more or less a contained forum, most members would not notice it if it were placed in the general forum.

I will allow this General Discussion thread to stay in this forum, but pretty soon after things are done around here and we make our transition to something new, I will not allow threads like this in the wrong forum.

Restricting the posting of quasi-general posts in this section will not expand participation into the general forum, it will preempt quasi-general posts. You were (and are) kind enough to share your forum with us so I have no doubt the members in this section will refrain from posting non-P&R topics from now on.

Don´t worry! Every thread, no matter what subject it starts with, always ends up changing into something else, namely Bush and Iraq. So even if anyone starts a quasi-general thread, chances are we will be talking politics not before long anyway. We are funny creatures indeed!
