Not having inhertiance would be stupid.

Say that your parents worked so hard on making a multi-million dollar empire of buisnesses and properties.

Well one day, they will die, like us all, and then all that stuff goes to the state. Its like giving away your money to the government, WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THAT, even when the wish of the parents is to pass on the buisness or something to their children?

Paris...Hilto..

Ummmm...

But have dead people democratic rights?
Once you have made up all those millions and are dead, why would society maintain your right to own it? You are dead.

Maybe they could do something else with their money or their business, inheritance is like giving it away to just a couple of people. What did they do to deserve it. They could turn it over to the employees, give more to charity, pay higher salaries. Have more fun.

Also they might be less interested in getting as rich as possible and pay a little more attention to other things, like being with their children and give them a sound emotional basis, invest more in their education.

It's like if you cant find anything usefull to do with your money before you die, let it be spent by a democratic government, so the whole population gets a word in about how to spend it.
