You make it sound like there's something wrong about showing a naked baby on tv?

Nude people are nothing to be ashamed of, emberassed about or in any way disgusting.... It is the american morale that is screwed up. So much for the seperation of church and state.

Victoria Secret is 'just' women in underwear, right? I don't see the problem, you see a lot more skin when you go to the beach. Plus there are ugly people on the beach. Why not ban them? ;)
I thought the US was supposed to be the land of the free?

Victoria's Secret is not the only thing that gets tidied up and toned down. It seems that the US is piece by piece becoming the state that the likes of Mr. Bush want it to be:

And again, they are speaking of sex, not violence...

"U.S. broadcasters on Monday struck back at the government's crackdown against indecency on the airwaves, warning regulators that harsher policies were threatening free speech on radio and television.
A coalition of more than 20 broadcasters, artists' groups and media organizations filed a petition on Monday asking the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to reconsider a profanity ruling that is part of what some commentators have called a new sexual McCarthyism."
http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.j...5&pageNumber=0
Interesting to see how much effort and money the signers of the petition are willing to spend for this fight. Or will the petition be the only action taken in fear of consequences.
