I noticed that everybody gets touchy and insulted/ing in this forum...

It feels so antagonistic here, maybe because there are less people than in the former SR P&R forum and therefore less buffering. Always the same few people posting the same kind of messages too so the antagonism grows... Anyway, I'd like to see a mod start a thread about what they think about the forum. I would but I think it would be better if a mod does it.

As for the new Black panthers, I don't have any strong feelings on the matter. There are plenty of white supremacy orgs. so I say why not (not saying it is a black supremacy party BTW)? It's not like they've commited any crimes, right?

And I oppose their existance as much as any fanatic group. Be that white supremecists, radical christians/muslims or any black or asian power movement. Just to clarify my position....

And to your "they haven't commited any crimes" comment, you may want to add "YET" to that statement as any of these organized bunch of idiots commit crimes sooner or later. Sadly I live in Texas where it is legal and permitted for the NEW black panthers to parade through the street showing of their AK 47's... Yeahhhhhh... peaceful and lawabiding bunch they are...

The BP can be seen as a child born of "neccesety" of the civil rights movement although that is a stretch. The "NBP" are useless non-sense organization are lacking any kind of justification for their existance nor the backing of the black community as they do not have any agenda that would help the black population in general. My point is that the NBP is just another criminal organization and has NO affiliation with the original BP's. Looking at your new "title" I may want to point out that you are a little to young to be one of the originals, so you must be a new one.... You want civic rights and improvement for the blacks and believe that this can be achieved with an AK-47...???? Good gravy...

Ideally, we wouldn't have any groups based on color/race/sex, so in that respect I totally agree with you. However, we have them because some people have a need for them for whatever reason. Again, it may be better if people went the ACLU route but I guess it's not for everyone. Let them do what they want, if they get in trouble with the law the law will take care of them. I am not their mom.

I initially typed "yet" but it would seem like I knew they were going to do something, which is not the case. I am more a "innocent until proven guilty" kind of guy.
