it really depens on what you count as the beginning of life. in my opinion yes as a baby has the potential for life

If someone killed a pregnant woman, then whatever happens happens. If friends and family feel the need for revenge & "justice" then it should be allowed as such. It's called natural law (cause & effect), the state should not intervene. besides "justice", "punishiment", & "revenge" are man-made concepts of zero validity.

Mmm...revenge...

The murder should count as two. No matter how old the fetus is, it still has a chance for life. Killing it is killing its chance at life.

But if I'm the murderer and I just wanted to kill the woman...not the unborn kid...Hmm... Then it SHOULD be considered 2 murders...

no scarier than being wrongly imprisoned for your entire life or raped or shanked to death once you're in prison. Just as the murderer had no "right" to kill the pregnant woman, the state has no right to kill someone or anything else as well less they be hypocritical.

Depends what prison you go to. Honestly, prison life in some places is quite decent.
