Default Sarah Palin

1 week ago, I didn't even know who Sarah Palin was, until she was picked by John McCain to be his VP. I'm not an American so such issues really sometimes go by me. As I was flipping channels, I happened to pass CNN and Sarah Palin's speech was ongoing. I thought, what the heck. I was curious seeing her on the Yahoo News. Well, what can I say? That speech was very good. She gave a motivating speech and even I was moved.

McCain's choice was indeed better than Obama's, which in my opinion, he should have picked Hillary for VP. That would have sealed the deal by getting enormous Black and women votes. The women votes could swing to McCain. Sarah Palin made an impact in the Republican camp, it seems. That's just my opinion. But be happy to have some other input.

I wanted to wait for a few days before responding to this.

I'm favorably impressed with Sarah Palin. I find her genuine and someone that I can relate to. She isn't a career politician, such as McCain, Biden and even Obama. In fact she's more of an agent for change than Obama at this point.

I find that the press isn't certain yet how to deal with her. That's refreshing, because they know how to deal with candidates they like and candidates they don't like. She's a wild card and it should drive some good interest to this election.

Its not that Obama didn't want Hilary, its that Hilary didn't want Obama. Plus who in their right mind would want a Vp who had already indirectly made comments that could be considered threatening? Not I!

I beg to differ. Hillary's camp already agreed that they'd like to run Hillary for VP. Plus, all those comments are mostly election talk. It's just the way the election works.

I also feel that Palin is a better choice. I am not sure about the moves she is going to make or the turns her political career will take, but for now she seems to be a right minded politician.
