President Bush's Secret Deal with the Saudis

President Bush's Secret Deal with the Saudis
The Saudi government has cut a deal with President Bush to manipulate gas prices in order to influence the November election, according to journalist Bob Woodward. According to Woodward, Saudis have promised Bush to increase oil production in the months leading up to the election, which will drive down the price of gasoline.
Bush's deal with the Saudis is currently costing Americans at the pump. OPEC nations have decreased production in current weeks, creating record gas prices, and Bush has done nothing, knowing that prices will drop just before the election.
Woodward also revealed that the Bush administration revealed top secret plans for the Iraq war to Saudi Arabia's Prince Bandar — a close Bush family friend — months before the war took place.
On January 11, 2003, according to Woodward, Vice President Cheney and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld showed Bandar a map of the war plan that was marked, "Top Secret. No foreign" — meaning it was not allowed to be shown to foreigners. The meeting with Bandar took place two days before President Bush revealed his plans for war to Secretary of State Colin Powell.

How screwed up is this. Oh yeah did anyone notice that after Septemeber 11, gas prices dropped down to 0.98, I guess that was a reward from the Saudis for our pain and suffering.
