A friend and I were discussing this the other day, and I just wish everyone would stop saying Obama is not a US citizen. The copy I saw online (not the first one) looks as genuine as it can get, and even if not (which it is), this man is perfectly legal to run for and be our president since his mother is a US citizen. What is even more scary are these bloggers making up conspiracy theories about Obama that they have no proof whatsoever about.

I don't think you'll ever get rid of these conspiracy theorists. It's as if they have nothing better to do than to stir up questions and problems.

One guy on another forum I go to said that Obama would cause WW3.

His citation? Nostradamus, which is roughly as reliable as Wikipedia. You have to admit, these people should just be locked up somewhere and ignored for a week or something so the rest of us can get some peace and quiet.

If WWW 3 happens and it starts in the Middle East, it won't be Obama's fault. The responsibility will actually belong to George W. Bush for getting us into this mess.

I don't why people will not leave our president elect alone. Why don't they talk about the bang up job President Bush has done. The only time I have seen any improvement in the economy heis getting ready to leave office.

Are you serious that you think the economy is improving? Please tell me how the economy is getting better. There are housing issues, companies asking for bailout money, unemployment is increasing, etc. How is the economy getting better?

The BC issue isn't going to go away until Obama comes clean about his past. That birth certificate that's posted on his website is a fake. It's been proven a fake by experts , thanks to factcheck.org's pictures. Besides, it has been documented that people born outside of the United States can be issued a COLB from the state of Hawaii. That forgery floating on the internet doesn't prove a thing. All Obama has to do is cough up the records people are asking for. He refuses to do that so the controversy will continue. It's not like they're asking for anything out of the ordinary. He keeps dodging these things like he's got something to hide. We'll see what happens in the SCOTUS tomorrow.

The main issue with Obama's eligible is not where he was born. That most important thing is whether Obama was ever a citizen of Indonesia. He attended school in Indonesia. That suggest that he was a citizen. It wasn't until recently that children who were not Indonesia citizens allowed to attend school in the country. Americans can not hold dual citizenship with Indonesia. If he was an Indonesian citizen at any time, his american citizenship was nullified. When he returned to the U.S., he should have been naturalized. Obama's trip to Pakistan in 1981 suggest that he held a foreign passport at the age of 19. In 1981 Pakistan was under martial law. Americans were not allowed to travel into the country unless they were government officials. Obama was not a government official in 1981. Obama has some explaining to do. He should have cleared all of this months ago, but he refused. It's not just some conspiracy theory. These are valid issues that should have been addressed a long time ago.

You don't have to be a citizen to temporarily attend school in another country. And how does Fact Check prove the photo of the one he originally provided is fake? The whole point of that page is to prove it's real. :\

If there truly was a problem, it would have been dealt with by now. If you want to attack him for his credentials and policies, feel free. But let's not turn a person away because of where they were born. Don't make me bring up the fact that McCain was born outside the US before the law that now grants him citizenship was in place. Who cares where he was born or whatever.... that condition is itself outdated. In Canada, it doesn't matter where you're born. Look at Gandhi... now for the big shocker: he wasn't American.

According to the law in Indonesia at the time, non-citizens were not allowed to attend school. He attended school as Barry Soetoro. He kept his step-father's name until he was in college. Factcheck.org allowed the forensics experts to get a better look at the birth certificate. One thing they noticed about the BC is that it's printed on 2007 paper. Hawaii changes the security details on the paper each year. That forgery is stamped with a 2008 seal. I wonder who's getting fired for that one?

It is a big deal and it hasn't been dealt with by now. If it had, there wouldn't be five cases in the SCOTUS right now and over 17 cases at the state levels. If Americans want to allow foreign nationals to become POTUS, they should have the opportunity to vote on the issue. It should not be forced on them and there shouldn't be any special arrangements for anyone. All Obama has to do is show up with authentic records. It's not going to go away until he deals with it. What is he waiting for? It's been almost two years. We don't have any records on this guy. Who is this man?

Unless the opposite parties exist, every politician will face this problem. No way you can eliminate such things. These politicians are so corrupted that they have got no spare time to think about the goodness of the country. Even if there are no opposite parties, am sure partymen within the party would start a war like this.
