Why? From a simply materialistic point of view, they're no different than any other ashes coming from anything, whether it be wood or flesh. It's not like grotesque or anything. From a religious point of view, well I guess it depends on your religion, but it's very far from nasty.
As for necrophilia, in reference to a long time ago, I am in no way condoning necrophilia, I think it's disgusting, but there shouldn't be a law against it. I think I said this before, but just because it's nasty doesn't mean it should be illegal.
