All true, however, one voice in a million. Amazing however that this was published in a israeli newspaper.

There are many in Israel who feel that way, only their voices are not heard.
Commendable in every sense

I work for an Israeli company and none of my co-workers utter any kind of regret for the Palestinians!

Well, this article does seem pretty unique in that it didn't try to promote Israeli moral above palestinian cruelty in a feigned graceful condemnation of "inappropriate" murder. The ones doing that are not very rare. Neither of these finds themselves reprinted very often in other media, though. Funny how this is, really, but it's perhaps natural as most papers never get their hands on op-ed material from other papers. Instead, there are plenty of official statements filling up the space in the "serious" articles. Anyway. This would be one and very welcome example that authority is not creating Opinion exclusively, in spite of everything.

After reading 1/4 of the article, i was almost inclined to agree. But then the author mentioned all the hundreds of other children that didn´t get any simpathy at all, and my hope for a better world came crumbling down...
The only thing i gather from this article, is that israelis have a strange sense of justice.
The kid with an explosive belt gets pardonned and made into a poster child for the anti-war israelis, while the two brothers riding their bicycles and blown away by a tank, get a big and round piece of nothingness. Just silence.
I guess humanity is lost after all...

That was what the author of the article rallied about, though. That they have no more concern for their own or the palestinian kids as long as these random killings continue. A small and tiny spark, but a spark nonetheless.
