It´s white, with a sky blue crescent moon, two thin blue stripes across the bottom, and a yellow strip between the two blue ones.
Looks like a table cloth to me.
No wonder the iraqis are pissed about it!! Not only they changed the old flag, they changed it to an absolutely ugly piece of rag!
Really bad move by the CPA and the IGV. Why is it that Bremer seems so eager to totally screw up every single effort made to reconciliate the people with the Governing Council? It´s as if they WANTED it to fail...

The new flag's design is terrible. I actually like the color and pattern of the current one and it should be retained. After WWII, we didn't create a new flag for Japan, did we?

Hey! I kind of like it! But I agree that it's up to them, not us. If they want to keep the old one more power to them.

I don´t know about you guys, but if any outside power changed my flag, i would be plenty pissed. Even more if they intend to replace it with that "thing"...
The old Iraqi flag is nice. It´s there since ever, even before Saddam. Claiming that they want to break with the past won´t stick. Saddam only added the writings, wich i think most iraqis are more than glad to have.
Really bad move.

I think the Iraqi people appreciate it as much as the American people would appreciate if someone presented the attached picture to them and said "here is your new flag". And your national anthem is now "Dotted and multicoloured rag"....
