If you are going to make a thread claiming a viewpoint on this topic is insane how about you write up an arguement or put forth some evidence that lead you to this conclusion instead of just being "absurd" and waiting for Jeff to write something that you agree with because you can't find the words yourself as you don't know shit?
Anyway, I am not 110% sold on evolution, but it makes the most sense out of anything we have come up with and there is actual evidence that we have found to indicate that it is how we came to be.

When I first read your reply I will admit that I got a little mad but then I realized that some of what you said is right. For me to start a thread with nothing but I complete dissagreement against a certain subject is idiotic on my behaf, that I'll agree too. I will not agree however that I simply put this topic up for Jeff. The reason why I never write longer replies or threads that require some signifigant time and thought to come up with is because I simply don't have enough time usually and I tend to try to keep thing's as simple as possible. That is still no excuse for me to write what I wrote so I suppose I'll put some thought into this reply.
The reason why I find the theory of evolution absurd is simply because I have a very strong faith in my god and I believe everything that bible says. I believe that we all came from Adam and Eve and that Jesus died for our sins. The idea that we have evolved from primates(whatever the meaning of "primates" is) just seems to be absurd, like I said before. It's not that I find the theory impossible, it actually seems quite possible. It's simply that my faith overwhelmes the entire theory.
I am definetlly on the lower portion of the totem pole in this subject and in any religious subject for that matter because scientists can do somthing I can't. They can offer other ideas to help support their theory, while religion has virtually none. I can say thing's like, "Read the scriptures and look at what's happening in the world. The bible predicts it all.", but that doesn't help me at all because people like you ,who full-heartedly believe in the theory, can say that those predictions can mean anything.
In the end, it all comes down to this I suppose. I can offer absolutelly no proof that god exists other than beliefs that I possess while you can offer thing's that are along the lines of proof.
There is still no proof that proves the theory of evolution to be right, but there are several things that support it greater than religion. I suppose that is the reason why so many people accept that thoery over religion. There is no proof that proves either right, but one has a greater advantage over the other...
