Rider, a long-time human resources bureaucrat, served nine months as acting director of Energy's intelligence office. He stepped down in February, the month before the war.


Make a quick buck and leave... Either he couldn't handle living with supporting a war and the pay off wasn't high enough, or the other option is that he was enstated to provide a certain piece of "Intelligence" for the Bush administration and then had to leave after he completed his assignmnet....
