I edited it by mistake (I meant to quote). When I mistakenly did that to Ranger, he graciously accpted my apology. I hope you will do the same.
Luckily, I think I was able to restore it to the original. Let me know if it is not in the original condition. Thanks.
Sorry again.

@ Aether:
Of course smoking a joint is worse than a cigarette, since you are adding the marijuana to the tobacco, and in most cases, without filter. If you use a bong, it is a lot cleaner but indeed there are still many chemicals that are nocive. Which brings me to your question. I know its harmful, and I do it because I actually derive pleasure. Addiction has been proven to be psychosomatic. I know if i get into a car I take the risk of getting killed. I know that I can be killed or harmed in many different situations, so I assess the risk and carry on. Are they bad for my health? Yes. Do I enjoy them? Yes.
I should be able to discern between whats good for me or not. It is me who is taking the risk. I am ok with it. You are not. Its a personal choice.
As for joints, trust me, you smoke one and suddenly you have lost your memory, sufferr from anxiety, distorted perception or trouble solving problems. It affects individuals differently, and in most cases these symptoms are only present if its use has been continous and high for a period of time.
Again, marijuana produces two ways of getting high, smoking the weed or making hashish out of it. WIthin each, some wil have CBC as the active enhancer, and others, THC. The latter is not present on hashish as the enhancer chem.

Exactly well put, I can remember one Summer I some years ago I was going 10hr nights in the Studio, of course rolled a couple of doobie joints, probably more than I knew my body could handle but anyways, next day I do remember memory lose and trouble solving some problems, matter fact I belive now that my short term memory was an effect of that, will I ever know? No.

Hmm, not sure how it reads, but I actually meant that smoking joints doesnt produce the symptoms described unless its use has been high and continuous, and even then it affects individuals differently.

Everybody discusses the medical issue, but how about the social issue? Wich is by far more important?
