I believe a business is a business, and it should be run by the owners of the business - not the government.
I believe people have a right to smoke, fart, pick their noses/butts/scabs, where ever they want - as long as I don't have to see it or smell it. If there were a restaurant/bar that allowed people to spit their tobacco on the floor I wouldn't go to that restaurant. It would be up to the restaurant owner to decide whether he's making enough money from the tobacco chewers to keep his business alive.

Yea, that is what I thought you reasoning was.

My guess is that people who smoke marijuana by free will do it because it makes them feel better, and they feel that the positives outweigh the negatives.

So if I, say, buy a pack of starburst and eat it, well aware that it isn't exactly the best thing to eat, I would be considered addicted? I would be "physiologically or psychologically dependent" on the starburst, to quote a dictionary?

No. But if you go to McDonalds for breakfast, lunch and supper every day for seven years, you are definitely addicted.

Every meal for 7 years? That's a more drastic than many drug addicts are.

You think so? I was under the impression that smoking 3 joints a day was quite common...
